What does the generated result look like?
The app produces a compact learning sheet with key takeaways, top points, terms, exam questions, a quick review section, and optional flashcards based on the generated notes.
Do I need an account?
No. The current product flow is built around an anonymous installation ID rather than a required user account.
Where is the AI part running?
Generation runs through a production API deployed on Railway. The AI processing itself uses OpenAI through the API platform.
Are my images used to train OpenAI models?
Not by default. StudyBrief uses the OpenAI API, where customer data is not used for model training by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in.
Do you store my uploaded images forever?
No. The product is designed so uploaded images are used for processing and are not meant to be kept longer than necessary. Saved study notes remain on the device for reopening later.
Is Plus already live?
The plan model is already built into the app. The public billing rollout can be activated separately, so the website presents the plan structure but does not claim universal live availability in every store yet.
Who is StudyBrief for?
It is built for students who want a fast, clear recap from existing school material instead of writing new notes from scratch.
